OUTBAC BROGA or Outdoor Team Buildling Adventure Camp provides the right perception to our targeted clientele that Broga Camp is an Adventure Camp and not a resort styled accommodation. The guests at the campsite have to be prepared for some outdoor living.
OUTBAC BROGA is an outdoor adventure campsite located at Broga, near Semenyih. It is approximately 40 minutes from the city centre by car. Its rustic accommodation facilities (air-conditioned dormitory) can accommodate up to 200 pax with a total of 30 rooms made up by 4 zones. Among the outdoor adventure facilities available are Extreme Sports Tower (Flying Fox, Abseiling and Wall Climbing), Ropes Courses (Low Ropes, Leap of Faith) and Obstacle Course including a Kayaking Pond and a Water Course. It also runs off-site outdoor adventure activities such as Waterfall Abseiling, Rock Climbing & Rapid Tubing, Caving and White-Water Rafting. For those interested in expeditionary kind of programs, there is the Broga Hill Mountain Trekking Expedition and Port Dickson Kayaking Expedition.
Amongst the innovation of the campsite, was to convert the orchard to a piece of flat land suitable for football and to dig up a small lake suitable for kayaking and water activities. Some of the durian trees were also converted to become poles for high and low ropes courses.
The initial phase of the camp comprised of dormitories for 40 people and later on, more dormitories were added and it can now house up to 200 participants at any one time. The campsite management offers over 20 activities to choose from with which some are within the boundaries of the campsite while others beyond. It also encompasses a few fully air-conditioned halls for a sitting capacity of up to 100 people.
Over the years, OUTBAC has grown to become the popular spot for outdoor adventure camping which offers cheap affordable rates yet without the hassle of travelling too far from the Klang Valley. Today, OUTBAC is known as the exciting site for all kinds of outdoor activities. It appeals to all including families, youth groups and adults. We strive to see happy faces leaving OUTBAC with a smile that says it all – “Yeah!, I am glad I came to OUTBAC!” |
